1. License

Mich is licensed, not sold. A purchased license grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive right to use the major version you purchased. A new major version requires a separate license.

2. Trial

The 7-day trial is provided for evaluation. After it ends, continued use requires a valid license.

3. Your data

You are responsible for your data, your master passphrase, and your backups. Because the passphrase is never stored, a lost passphrase makes your data unrecoverable. Mich is provided without access to your data and cannot recover it for you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the software except as permitted by law, and not to share or circumvent license keys.

5. Warranty & liability

The software is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from its use. (Finalize this section with counsel.)
